LS4
The LS4, successor to the LS1 in the Standard Class, made its first flight in 1980. It is the fifth most produced non-military glider.
A total of 1,048 were built, until Rolladen-Schneider entered receivership in 2003. This type consolidated Rolladen-Schneider’s reputation for well rounded sailplanes that are both easy to fly and top performers.
With its docile handling it is ideally suited for club and private use. The controls for the glider are manually connected, except for the elevator which connects automatically. Because of the hotelier couplings it takes less then 5 minutes to connect the airbrakes and ailerons. The water ballast bags have been removed to be able to fly the glider at max. cockpit weight (110kg).
Both our LS4’s are in perfect technical state and ready to fly!
